Hopeless Diseases -- No Known Cause -- No Known Cure

The common denominator of these "diseases" is NOT that they are in your head.  No, they are "real" in that you feel physical pain, or distress, or whatever.  With some variation these are diseases where the origin is unknown and the treatment is an experiment -- where "cure" is not expected to be found.

In most cases, if you look carefully, you'll find that these are "invented names."  The name may "mean" something, but it is not a "real" disease even though the pain is real.

Whatever the solution may be, it is NOT in anti-depressants.  Most of these diseases eventually get you in front of the doctor who prescribes psychiatric drugs -- not as a cure, you understand, but as a method of reducing the upset and stress you have from the pain.  The doctor will also usually offer pain killers.

If you are strong, and resist these urgings, you will have the pain for years.  Why?  Because no one has convinced you, yet, that there is a cure -- I have it.  Most people who come here won't read, or if they read, they won't believe or won't try.  It's sad!

The doctors apologize for not knowing how to cure the problem, but they are confident that the psychiatric drugs will make the problem seem less severe.

They are right.

Psychiatric drugs make you more into a vegetable -- and vegetables don't feel much.  Eventually, a vegetable does not feel anything, and dies as a vegetable.

In the meantime the doctor is wringing his hands in despair (except that he does not take his own anti-depressants) and telling you that he wishes there were some better answer.

The solution is NOT in psychiatric drugs.

Do I offer NO HOPE!

Not true, I offer lots of hope, but the usual patient doesn't want to listen -- would rather take some magic pill and join the "victim support groups" that populate the Internet.  You'll find many of those for each separate hopeless disease.

They say they want to get better? But, they won't try what I suggest.

What can I do?

Tell the truth as I know it.

I expect to be attacked.  I've explained exactly why patients and family members will attack me, and urge you to read why, and whatever attacks I've had so far.

The most thoroughly developed article I've written on this is right below -- on fibromyalgia.  Your symptoms may be different?  But, click and read that article anyway.  It is valid data.  You will not find useful data elsewhere.

The single most important part of a remedy is to recognize that every case of a "hopeless disease" was preceded by some sort of a wrong relationship. Then the disease is in a young child, then the wrong relationship was among the parents.  There would be no exceptions. There WOULD be denial that this exists, or, sometimes, a complete failure to see that wrong relationship when I could easily spot it, based on honest observation.  In rare cases the wrong relationship may be in the past, or otherwise obscured.  Click here or on the image for that information.  (The image illustrates that a wrong relationship started with some sort of agreement between two people -- and then that agreement was violated by one of them.  Such is the fundamental and root cause of illness and disease!)

Syringomyelia (SM) is a disorder in which a cyst forms within the spinal cord. This cyst, called a syrinx, expands and elongates over time, destroying the center of the cord. Since the spinal cord connects the brain to the nerves in the extremities, this damage may result in pain, weakness, and stiffness in the back, shoulders, arms or legs. Other symptoms may include headaches and loss of the ability to feel extremes of hot or cold, especially in the hands and disruption in body temperature. SM may also adversely affect sweating, sexual function and bladder and bowel control.

Don't take the psychiatric drug.  The most important message I can give you about Lupus -- don't let anti-depressants be part of your treatment.  They make you worse.

Crohn's disease causes inflammation in the small intestine. Crohn's disease usually occurs in the lower part of the small intestine, called the ileum, but it can affect any part of the digestive tract, from the mouth to the anus. The inflammation extends deep into the lining of the affected organ. The inflammation can cause pain and can make the intestines empty frequently, resulting in diarrhea.

Legg-Calve Perthes Disease --- (LCPD)

Legg-alvé-Perthes disease (LCPD) is a condition where the part of the of thighbone (femur) that meets the hip deteriorates because it does not get enough blood. It is most often diagnosed between the ages of 4 and 8 years of age, but may be noticed also before the child is two years old. The disease is also known as coxa plana, Legg-Perthes disease, or simply, Perthes disease.

Tinnitus - Ringing In The Ears

Ringing in the ears refers to a sound that usually only the affected person can hear. The sound is not coming from the environment. Instead it seems to be coming from the person's body or from the ear itself. Other noises, such as buzzing or roaring, may also be heard.

Another Hopeless Disease - Mycoplasma Fermentans (Incognitus Strain)

Like many others, there are various commercial firms, probably believing in the righteousness of their cause, who offer to treat this disease.  It is another invented disease.  It is often called the "germ warfare threat" and it is often described as infectious and having started in the soldiers who served in the Gulf War.  The image is from one of the companies that sells some product supposedly to help.  It is not a help.

It is real physical pain.  The psychiatric drugs recommended are worse than harmful.

Autism == The Hopeless Disease That Affects Millions Of  Children

There may well be more people worried about autism than any of the other hopeless diseases -- because it generally affects children and parents feel hopeless.  Doctors certainly don't have a clue as to what causes it or how to treat it.  There are literally dozens of "truly expert" groups who each have "the solution."  I suggest that any of these which involve psychiatric drugs is even more evil than whatever might cause this disease.  The solution, like any others of the hopeless diseases lies in the standard remedies recommended at the top of the page, and detailed in the hundreds of further pages.  Read with hope!

Endometriosis -- Another Hopeless Disease

"Endometriosis is the most common cause of pelvic pain there is. So if a woman has pelvic pain she should begin by assuming she probably has endometriosis. "

Another hopeless disease usually considered caused by doctors giving a bad drug.

Tamoxiphen is supposed to be for breast cancer prevention and that drug is often the cause of this problem.

Like other hopeless diseases you can be sure there are "associations" that recommend that you join some victim support group, take psychiatric drugs, and pain pills when it gets too painful.

The Asbestos Disease -- Mesothelioma -- Good For Lawyers Only

It is an interesting commentary on "disease" when the most prominent web pages for the disease are published by attorneys.  You will find treatments mentioned, but generally what you really find is the urging of readers to contact the lawyers so they can get their greedy hands into the pockets of the hundreds of firms that had anything to do with putting the asbestos in place.  These lawyers may talk about cures, and treatments, but what they really want, only, is to sue and collect their fee.

I have not studied this health problem, but I do know that IF there is any cure it does not lay in the path of lawsuit, but may well lie in the path of a detoxification program I describe here.

Transverse Myelitis

Transverse Myelitis is a rare inflammatory disease involving both sides of the spinal cord. The Transverse Myelitis Association was established in 1994 as a not-for-profit organization dedicated to advocacy for those who have the TM diagnosis. (source)

Here is yet another hopeless disease, replete with the victim support group association -- asking for your money for research, but not offering any hope of cure.

Die!  In Pain! 

That is the message.

The rest of the message?  Take anti-depressants to help you cope!

Drugs Used for Symptoms Associated with Transverse Myelitis

The solution does NOT lie on this path.

The solution is probably best laid out in the article about fibromyalgia -- sounds like a very different health problem?  Well, there are also many similarities.  READ HERE about fibromyalgia, see how much of that applies to this Transverse Myelitis, particularly the strong suggestion that you should take psychiatric drugs -- the REAL reason this disease was "invented."  Remember, the disease is REAL, but the primary purpose for "promoting" it is to convince you that ONLY anti-depressants are going to help.

   For large numbers of people, especially children, this is precisely the situation in which they find themselves due to defects in the mitochondria, organelles found in every cell of the body which are responsible for the body's energy production.  Mitochondrial diseases compromise their lives and can be fatal.

Mitochondrial defects have also been linked to Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, diabetes, autism, and the aging process.  Since 1996, the UMDF has funded over $200,000 in research toward a cure and has helped thousands of families through the family support network.  UMDF supports scientific collaboration and family networking through international symposia and is building an endowment to sustain research through the millennium.

What is Lichen Sclerosus?  It is another hopeless disease!

Lichen Sclerosus is a skin condition that causes inflammation and often intractable itching for long periods of time. Most commonly it affects the skin around the genital and anal areas. There's actually very little known about it considering it was first reported over a hundred years ago in 1887.

It's estimated to affect up to one in 300 people around the world, the majority of these people being women over the age of fifty. Men are much less often affected than women and occasionally children develop it too but this isn't common.

At present there is still much speculation around what exactly causes Lichen Sclerosus. Many theories have been put forward suggesting that there's a genetic susceptibility and that infection may trigger its development. There also appears to be a link with other auto-immune conditions, for example thyroid disease. However, none of this is carved in stone.

Membranous Nephropathy --- Another Hopeless Disease

The glomeruli are the inner structures of the kidney that include small capillaries surrounded by membranes through which the blood is filtered to form urine. Membranous nephropathy is caused by thickening of the capillary wall of the glomerular basement membrane (the deepest membrane) by immune complexes. The cause is not known.  The honest remedies are shown on the linked page.
 

Sarcoidosis -- Little Bumps That Might Go Away -- Or Might Not!

Sarcoidosis is a disease due to inflammation.

The disease can attack any organ of the body in any location. The disease is characterized by the presence of granulomas, small areas of inflamed cells. They can be either inside the body or son the body's exterior, appearing as sores on the face or shins. But sarcoidosis is most frequently found in the lungs.

No one yet knows what causes sarcoidosis.

It is thought by most scientists to be a disorder of the immune system, where the body's natural defense system malfunctions.

Another Hopeless Disease -- Myasthenia Gravis

The usual situation.  No known cause.  No known cure.  In the meantime, make donations for more research, and if you are really hurting, get steroid shots, and when they quit working, get on a good anti-depressant.  The usual hopeless disease.

Paget's Disease -- Another Hopeless Disease With A Terrible Drug as the ONLY Recommended Treatment

Paget's disease is a chronic disorder that typically results in enlarged and deformed bones. The excessive breakdown and formation of bone tissue that occurs with Paget's disease can cause bone to weaken, resulting in bone pain, arthritis, deformities, and fractures. Paget's disease may be caused by a "slow virus" infection, present for many years before symptoms appear. There is also a hereditary factor since the disease may appear in more than one family member.  Usually mal-treated with Fosamax.  Avoid that drug.

Multiple Sclerosis

Pick's Disease

Pick's Disease is a progressively degenerative neurological disease similar to Alzheimer's Disease for which there is no known prevention, or cure. Pick's Disease affects the frontal and temporal lobes first, with earliest symptoms showing up as changes in personality and a decline in function at home as well as work. Pick's Disease is frequently first diagnosed as stress or depression and then as Alzheimer's disease. The treatment of Pick's disease is the same as for various stages of other dementias such as Alzheimer's. This accounts for so little information being available related specifically to the treatment of Pick's Disease. This page includes information and links that I have found on this subject.
